EmberX is a fireproof thermal aerogel material that protects against thermal runaway and catastrophic system failures.
For integration into BESS and grid level storage solutions, the material, in crystal form, is used by packing the void spaces between individual cells inside a battery enclosure. Alternatively, the material can be formed into a robust, mechanically sound, thin board to create enclosures or housings around aligned cells in large systems.
